Arizona CPR Classes

Lifework Education is a training center passionate about teaching healthcare professionals and lay rescuers about lifesaving CPR care. We offer Heartsavers CPR courses from the American Heart Association™ and the American Red Cross™ and serve the Greater Phoenix area.

Certifications We Offer in Arizona

We have a range of certifications for teachers, lifeguards, firefighters, nurses, doctors and other first responders. Take a look at our specific certification courses below.

CPR Certification

A CPR certification is an introductory course for lifeguards, babysitters, caregivers, teachers, coaches and others who want to be certified. This course teaches critical CPR and AED skills and how to treat bleeding, sprains and broken bones. CPR certifications primarily aim to teach individuals how to respond to emergencies until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. Lifework Education also offers the Arizona CPR class in Spanish.

BLS Certification

Basic life skills (BLS) certification courses train participants in single-rescuer and team support skills in and out of hospital settings. With an Arizona BLS class, you can learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and deliver appropriate chest compressions and ventilations. You will also learn how to use an AED and provide needed first aid. Healthcare professionals and lay rescuers can learn these critical skills for adults, children and infants.

ACLS Certification

Healthcare professionals can take the next step in CPR techniques with advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications. This course expands on the basics taught with the BLS certification while adding in team dynamics and communication, airway management and related pharmacology.

PALS Certification

Healthcare professionals can also take a pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification course. PALS course material specifically focuses on children and infants, teaching participants how to identify and treat pediatric patients in pre-arrest conditions. Lifework Education offers initial and renewal class options.
